"Today, it is not difficult to find a young vocalist in the ever changing business of music. Now, there is Blake Smith. It all started At the age of 2 years old, Blake was always surrounded by music. His dad played the bass, piano and drums and his brother was a professional dancer. Blake was always drawn to music even before he realized that music was his true calling. Now, 23 years old, who is equally adept at acting, modeling and of course dancing. This future superstar with drop dead gorgeous looks, ethereal vocals and an enchanting personality is raising the bar on the world’s expectations for male entertainers. At the ages of 3 & 4 he started to follow his older brother around (Jose Torres) who choreographed “I Love Your Smile” for Shanice Wilson; he also worked for Janet Jackson, & Toni Braxton to name a few. Sure enough Blake blew everyone away with his stage presence and charisma at such a young age. So his mom heard about the opening of Prince’s Club “Glam Slam” back in 1992. He auditioned at the age of 6 years old and beat out everyone else. Soon that led to opened up doors where he opened up for artist such as LL Cool J, Coolio Tina Marie, Vesta and did an A.I.D.S. benefit of 7,000 people. Blake became a Hollywood notable even accompanying Janet Jackson at the MTV Awards. Blake’s unquenchable fire on the stage captured the eye of Debbie Allen, who ultimately cast him in The Chocolate Nutcracker. Blake’s energy inspires even the most conservative of audiences, and he is certain to woo the audiences of the male superstars currently on pop, hip-hop and R&B charts. Blake loves being on-stage and conspicuously claims it as his throne; never has he failed to capture the attention of A&R reps, modeling Agents and casting directors. Blake has also appeared in major National and International commercials. A natural in front of the cameras, Blake was featured on American Journal because of his musical performance at Spike Lee’s Melrose fashion Show. I have not been blogging here often. I've been staying on my grind here lately. I have to stay focused on myself. I'm sure y'all can feel me on that. Any who, I wanted to show Steve Martorano some love. I came across this man when I was watching "The Mo'Nique Show" a few months back. I could feel this dude spirit from my television screen. Steve you seem to be one real down to earth individual. Shoot, dude will give you his shirt off his back, I'm sure. Stay this humble, loving, and caring dude that you are. There are not too many people on this earth like you. By the way I love how you express your love for our father God. HE is such an awesome God, I know you agree with me on that.

Audra, being this music industry. It "may" seem like things are a set-back, but I feel like God has you wonderful ladies waiting for a reason. We need "REAL MUSIC" like Richgirl in our ear's. Giving Props Where Props Are Do : Ky Ziegler

Let me first start off by saying Happy New Year to all of my blog viewers. I have to start 2011 off with none other than the amazing, talented, and motivating Ky Ziegler. She is not just an actress, she's one talented artist. Ky was kind enough to share with me her amazing skills, God has blessed her with. FYI I wanted to come back and edit this post. Since, she was kind enough to send me a photo of her with her work. I'll share with y'all this lovely painting that she did paying homage to Lady Day. There are a lot of thieves out here in the world. Where someone from the internet would be real rude, and take her work as if it was their own. She works very hard on what she does and puts a lot of time in to her paintings and other work. Like making beads out of Mardi gras. That's why I was thinking twice about posting this. But, since she approved that I could use this. I'll share it with you guys. Ky's work as an artist is beyond words.

Ky, you're truly a gifted woman of God. Your paintings tell a whole story. Don't stop doing what you love to do. Not just being an actress or artist, but also being a wonderful role model to young people like myself. You have a heart of gold and your spirit says a lot about yourself. You always seem to keep it 100 with people. You're truly an Angel. When ever we speak to each other, you always have such a loving and glowing spirit. May you continue to shine woman of God. Let God guide your hands as you paint and make mardi gras out of beads. Keep going for the stars Lovely, and thriving for the best. You most definitely deserve to be recognized for your absolutely amazing skills. Just so you know, there are a very few people I look up to. And, you happen to be one them real talk!
