Tonight, I was on the net reading up on some old e-mails. When a friend of mine sent me this website back in March. He asked me if I had heard of DCMA Collective. And, that it is Joel Madden and his brother's store. He thought that their clothes were really cool. So, I checked out the site and I liked what I saw. The clothes are real dope. "MILES FROM HOME" The Movie

Well, first off. This movie was written and directed by the dope Ty Hodges. Along, with the great Meagan Good. As you read below you will get some in site on the film.


"Miles From Home", is a tale of lost innocence. Miles Conway, (Ty Hodges), 17, is force to fend for himself after his mother walks out on him and his brother, due to her drug addiction. Abandoned also by his brother he is homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. Miles is introduced to a group of teenage prostitutes and is seduced into a world of sex, money, and drugs. They become his family. Once he is confronted by his inner demon, it's too late. Innocence is lost. Miles is torn between his two worlds after he meets Natasha Freeman, (Meagan Good), 19, a free spirited college student. Without effort, Natasha shows Miles there is still beauty in life. In order to survive, he must learn to overcome his circumstances and recognize a blessing when he sees one. There is a war within him and Miles has to make a decision. Will he choose life or death? Miles quickly learns the greatest fear we will ever have to face is to confront the person inside.

I got this info from MTV.com. Kanye West, along with MTV's Sway Calloway, give recently returned Iraq war veterans the surprise of their lives by unexpectedly visiting their homes. More than 1.7 million young people have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan- see first-hand the difficult and often painful challenges young vets face when they return home, and watch as Kanye helps them realize their dreams.
I really did enjoy this 1 hour special. That was very kind of Kanye and MTV to do for those people.

I Made Someone Smile.

Yesterday, I went to the mall to get a t-shirt made. It was for the dope Lyrica Anderson who I have already told you about. She is an up and coming artist that is about to be doing some big thangs. When I sent her the t-shirt that I got made for her. This is some of what she said. "ur are so dope and inspirational!!!! u really made me smile!!!!" What she said really touched me. She made me smile as well. Then I noticed that she put these pics on her myspace page. I am so honored by that y'all just don't know! See, it is the small things in life that can make someone smile.

I Received A New Digital Camera

This pass Friday my Dad surprised me with a brand new digital camera. I was so surprised that he got that for me. Cause, that was something that I was saving to get for myself. I told my Dad "Thank you so much". But, this is something that I was going to get for myself". Then he told me. "Just save that money for our trip to L.A./Hollywood". I greatly appreciate what he got for me. I love my dude with all my heart! I mean at times it gets kinda hard for me and my Dad. I loss my Mother when I was very young 10 years old. He has been a Father and Mother to me. At times me and him kinda disagree on some things. But, at the end of the day we have that strong love for each other. And, most of all me and my Dad have a praying connection. That no one can come between. I love you Daddy!!! :)

I am loving Rihanna's new video. It was co-written by Chris Brown.
I am also loving her hair cut style that is a killer!!! My bro suggested that I cut my hair. Like the way she has it on 3:14 in the video. I must say that that is all me in that hair cut. Thing is I have never had my hair cut that short. But, hey it is nothing wrong with change. I am going to have to take that under consideration. Thanks for the note LT!

Well, tonight I was @ home. When I happen to turn to ESPN2. When I came across the WNBA basketball game. When the Sparks and the Shock got into a lil brawl. A girl from the Shocks team ran up on Candace Parker #3 Forward for the Los Angeles Sparks. Her picture is right below.
I said out loud oh snaps!!!! I was not prepared to see a fight between these two teams. Trust me when I tell you this. You will be seeing this on your television screen for a while! To, me it really was not a BIG fight. But, we all know how the media runs with things.

Well, first off. I am woman that enjoys watching sports. I use to play basketball when I was younger and my Freshman year of High School.
Basketball is one of my favorite sports. But, I enjoy watching football, boxing, and even baseball. Anyway, the reason for this blog today. Is cause I happen to come across the NY METS baseball game on T.V. Who's manager for them is the dope Jerry Manuel. I was on youtube when I came across an interview with him. He really does seem like he is a very down to earth indiviual.

I was so excited when I opened my present. Cause, this was something that I had been wanting for a while. I wanted one with the late great Lisa "Lefteye" Lopes on it. She was an inspiration to me. Well, I noticed this t-shirt. Last year when my idol Meagan Good had it on. When she was hosting 106&Park. I was loving the logo on her shirt. I mean the quote says it all. So a couple months back. I go to check the mail and I noticed a lite package with my name on it. I opened it up I was like oh sh**! This is the shirt that Meagan rocked on BET lol.
