Blessings To Miss. W.O.G.

I just had to show RB some love. I believe that we have a spiritual connection. We are both women that loves to give HIM our father GOD the praise. She always seems to send me blogs that are right on time just like GOD is. They end up going right along with something that I may have been praying for or what not. Her blogs and her myspace messages always hit home with me. She is such a blessings and is most definitely a Woman Of God. I have nothing but, love and respect for her. Its amazing at how you can feel the words of God through someone. Especially, someone who is ground in HIM like she is. And, how you can feel peoples prayers. But, the reason for this W.O.G. blog. Is just to recognize my sister, my friend, my family in Christ RB. For all that she minsters to me. I receive it all! She is always and forever in my prayers! I can say that she is a great in pack in my life. She is such and blessing. I am thankful and blessed that I am able to communicate with her. I pray that God continues to show this woman favor!

An Oscar Will Be Coming Her Way Soon!

Me and my brother have talking about this for a while now. Not only have we been talking about Meagan receiving an Oscar. We are have been praying on it. Meagan Good has been in the game for while now. She is not just an actor she is a producer as well. She has been producing her on films. Here are some of her films that she has produced along with her brother/best friend Ty Hodges. They are entitled "Miles From Home" and "Sundays In Fort Green". I am a full supporter of Meagan. She is my idol and I wish her all the best with your acting career. And, all that she strives to accomplish. God bless this W.O.G. (Woman Of God)! I know that she is going to go even further with her acting career.
OSCAR IN THE WORKS! ;)

Obama's proposed tax cuts

WASHINGTON – President-elect Barack Obama's proposed tax cuts ran into opposition Thursday from senators in his own party who said they wouldn't do much to stimulate the economy or create jobs. Senators from both parties agreed that Congress should do something to stimulate the economy. But Democratic senators emerging from a private meeting of the Senate Finance Committee criticized business and individual tax cuts in Obama's stimulus plan.

They were especially critical of a proposed $3,000 tax credit for companies that hire or retrain workers.

"If I'm a business person, it's unlikely if you give me a several-thousand-dollar credit that I'm going to hire people if I can't sell the products they're producing," said Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D., a member of the committee.

"That to me is just misdirected," Conrad said.

Sen John Kerry, D-Mass., said, "I'd rather spend the money on the infrastructure, on direct investment, on energy conversion, on other kinds of things that much more directly, much more rapidly and much more certainly create a real job."

The cost of the economic rescue package Obama wants is expected to swell to $800 billion or more. About $300 billion of Obama's package would be for tax cuts or refunds for individuals and businesses.

One tax provision would provide a $500 tax cut for most workers and $1,000 for couples, at a cost of about $140 billion to $150 billion over two years. The individual tax cuts may be awarded through withholding less from worker paychecks, effectively making them about $10 to $20 larger each week.

Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., said he doubted that a modest tax cut would change consumers' spending habits.

"In tough times people don't respond all that well to marginal changes, such as a small amount of money added per paycheck," Wyden said.

Democratic Sen. Max Baucus of Montana, chairman of the Finance Committee, said he hopes to schedule a committee vote on the stimulus package in about two weeks, which would coincide with the week of Obama's inauguration. Many senators still hope to approve a package by mid-February.

There is "general agreement that because of the recession we've got to move, we've got to move quickly, very quickly," Baucus said.

He added that it is too early to pass judgment on any aspect of Obama's plan.

"This is an early part of this whole process. A lot of preliminary questions are going to be asked," Baucus said.

T. Jones Says That Favre Should Have Been Benched

NEW YORK (TICKER) —New York Jets running back Thomas Jones earlier this week told a local radio station that future Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre should have been benched at some point during the season.

Jones told Hot 97 FM on Tuesday that Favre’s mistakes hurt the Jets down the stretch.

New York lost four if its last five games, and the 39-year-old Favre tossed nine interceptions with just two touchdowns in that span. Favre finished with 22 touchdowns and a league-worst 22 interceptions, but still somehow made the Pro Bowl.

“We’re a team and we win together. … But at the same time, you can’t turn the ball over and expect to win,” Jones told the radio station two days after Favre tossed three interceptions in the season-ending loss to Miami.

The loss was even more painful because former Jet Chad Pennington outplayed Favre and helped the Dolphins clinched the AFC East. Jones, who led the AFC with 1,312 yards, said the turnovers were the difference in the 24-17 loss.

“The other day, the three interceptions really hurt us. I mean, that’s just reality,” Jones told the radio station. “If I were to sit here and say, ‘Oh, man, it’s OK,’ that’s not reality. … I don’t like it, I know everybody else on the team doesn’t like it.

“If somebody is not playing well, they need to come out of the game,” Jones told Hot 97 FM. “You’re jeopardizing the whole team because you’re having a bad day. To me, that’s not fair to everybody else. You’re not the only one on the team. So when you get to the wire and somebody is just giving the game up, I mean, it’s just not (fair).”
